Pumpkin Hunting

Last weekend we went to our local farm Benson's to pick out the perfect pumpkins for Halloween.  I've been coming to Benson's ever since I can remember for produce, flowers & pumpkins.

I love this place.  Not only does it support local business & farmers, but the pumpkins are stinkin' cheap.  Gracie likes bumpy, misshapen, & oddly colored pumpkins.

Good thing Benson's has all shapes, sizes & colors.  So you get your perfect pumpkin.

The kids wandered through the sea of pumpkins for a while...

...before finding what they desired.

Gracie wanted a picture by the scare crow.

Therefore, Danica wanted a picture by the scare crow.

Our trip ended with 6 perfect pumpkins & some ornamental gords & Indian corn.  What a fun outing!
