New House!

We've got a new house!  It has been a few weeks of negotiations, but we just signed the last negotiation paper.  We close on June 20th & we can't wait!

It was a foreclosure & is a Homepath house, so negotiations & paper work took a while, but we are almost homeowners.

The house is up Grant Creek by Snow Bowl ski area.  Ironically it is a block away from the house I grew up in.

It is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath house.  2800 square feet and sits on 1.4 wooded acres.  We love it.

The basement has a large unfinished storage area that we will create into a 4th bedroom & we are going to expand the small bathroom in the basement to accommodate all the kiddos.  We are tentatively planning on moving in around the end of July.

The entire upper floor is a master suite.  So I will have an oasis that is all mine in the home.

The loft area we are going to enclose & make it Josh's office.

The kitchen is entirely brand new.  I love it!

As you may have notice all the railings, or lack thereof, are very dangerous.  One of our lenders stipulations is that these be brought up to code before the closing date.  Luckily the sellers are paying for half of this project & we get to use our builder, so we get exactly what we want.
