Big Water

The snow keeps melting, the rain keeps falling, & the rivers keep swelling!  Our ranch is far enough away from the Clark Fork River that we don't have any concern.  It would have to cross the interstate, the railroad track, two large ditches, & a frontage road before reaching our property.  Others around us are not so lucky though.  The other day the kids & I took a drive down the river to see what was happening, here's what we found...
This is the campground across the river from us at The Chalet Bearmouth...
... the entire campground is engulfed including all their electrical RV hook-up boxes.  What a mess!
The other side of The Chalet where they usually do outdoor events.
A field that has become a river.
Twins' bus stop.  To the left is the on-ramp to the interstate.  You can see how close the river is getting to running over the interstate.
Our poor neighbors place is underwater too.
Most of their barns & outbuildings are now sitting in a pool of muddy water.
But everyone is safe, now they just have to wait for the river to go down.
So we wait, & are humbly reminded by God's nature how small we really are & how important community is.  Looking forward to the day of low rivers!
